Cookie Policy

Last reviewed: August 8, 2026

1. Current State of This Site

Only necessary technologies currently operate on this site. No analytics service, advertising pixel, marketing tag, personalization tool, session replay tool, or chat widget is loaded. The optional categories shown in the privacy preference dialog currently activate nothing. Selecting an optional category records your preference for future use only. If we later add a tool in one of those categories, we will describe it in this policy before it loads, and it will load only where your recorded preference allows it.

2. Cookies and Local Storage Are Different

A cookie is a small file that your browser stores and sends back to a server with later requests, which means its contents leave your device. Local storage is a browser storage area that holds data on your device and is readable only by scripts running on this site; it is not attached to requests and is not transmitted to a server automatically. This site sets no cookies from its own application code. It writes one local storage entry to remember your privacy choices. Cookies described below are set by our network and bot protection provider, not by application code.

3. What Is In Use

Strictly necessary cookies

  • Cloudflare network security and bot management. Provider: Cloudflare. Purpose: distinguishing automated traffic from human traffic and protecting the site from abuse. Cookies such as __cf_bm may be set by the network layer on any page of this site. Type: cookie. Duration: short-lived, typically measured in minutes to hours and controlled by the provider rather than by us.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile. Provider: Cloudflare. Purpose: the bot protection challenge associated with the contact form. Turnstile may set short-lived cookies in connection with a challenge. Type: cookie. Duration: limited to the challenge and its validity window, as determined by the provider.

Strictly necessary local storage

  • dwc-cookie-consent-v2. Provider: this site. Purpose: records your privacy category selections, whether a Global Privacy Control signal was detected, and the time of your choice, so the preference dialog does not ask again. Type: browser local storage, not a cookie. Duration: remains until you clear site data in your browser or reset your choices through the preference dialog.

Font delivery

The site typeface is requested from Google Fonts. Loading a page causes your browser to make a network request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, which makes your internet protocol address and standard request headers visible to that service. Whether that service sets any cookie is determined by the provider and not by us. We do not send analytics or advertising identifiers with these requests, and we do not receive information back from them.

Optional categories

  • Analytics. Off by default. No analytics tool currently loads. Selecting this category records a preference only.
  • Marketing. Off by default. No marketing or advertising tool currently loads. Selecting this category records a preference only.
  • Personalization. Off by default. No personalization tool currently loads. Selecting this category records a preference only.

4. Managing Your Choices

You can accept the optional categories, reject them, or set them individually at any time through the control in the footer. Accepting and rejecting are presented as equally available choices in the dialog, and closing the dialog without a selection is treated as a rejection of the optional categories. Because no optional vendor currently operates on this site, choosing to accept does not cause any additional technology to load. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the contact form or the site from working correctly.

5. Global Privacy Control

Where required by applicable law, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. When the signal is present, the marketing and personalization categories are shown as off, cannot be switched on in the dialog, and are recorded as off when you save preferences or select the accept option. The dialog displays a notice when the signal is detected.

6. Changes

We update this policy when the technologies in use change. The review date above reflects the most recent review. A more detailed technical inventory is published at Privacy Audit Summary.
